Howdy all,
True blue Cowboy fan since 1965 (I'm 51 now).
I lived in Dallas then and grew up along with the Cowboys. Meridith was the QB, Landry was the rising young genius coach, Doomsday was on the horizon, and the Boys played in the Cotton Bowl.
I live in Los Angeles now.
All time favorite Cowboy = Staubach.
Current Favorite Cowboy = Romo (reminds me a lot of Roger).
I used to sell programs at the stadium when Texas Stadium first opened.
Best game I saw in person = playoff win against Detroit in probably 1970. Cowboys won 5-0 on pure defense!
Best & Worst Cowboy memory = watching the Ice Bowl in 1967. I still hurt from that one. |

Favorite Cowboy: Roy Williams
Something interesting: Been to 20+ Cowboys games, most here in AZ. Seen them in Big D of course, Oakland, San Francisco, and most recently at the new Cardinals stadium. The Redbird fans were gone by the 3rd quarter! We ripped em'! _________________

Hello.
Cowboy fan since birth (1970)
I was born and raised in San Antonio and lived there until Oct. of 2006 and now live in Lansing MI. (talk about a pilgrim in an unholy land!) Like most of us from SA...I have always been a Cowboys fan. I always thought it was hilarious when the Oilers had their training camp in SA and people still traveled to Austin for the Boys.
All time favorite Cowboy = Roger Staubach.
Current Favorite Cowboy = DeMarcus Ware
Best game I saw in person = playoff win against Green Bay in 1994.
Best Cowboy memory = the win in SB 27 that proved the Cowboys were back.
Worst Cowboy memory = the catch.
Great site here...glad to be a part of it. _________________ My first words were..mama, daddy...Landry. |
